Colosseum and its underground

On my signal, unleash hell…
…or at least, come and visit the Colosseum!
A true symbol of the greatness and magnificence of the Eternal City, the Colosseum is really known by everyone and all over the world,a bit for its millennial history, a bit for the legends and stories related to it.
“Here is a monument that will be more famous than any other human work”: with these words Martial describes the Colosseum , which, not surprisingly , still remains a must-see for tourists visiting Rome.
The Flavian Amphitheater is known by the name of Colosseum for the colossal bronze statue depicting Nerone that was nearby and rises in the archeological heart of the capital.
As well as the imposing structure, even the underground of the Colosseum are really fascinating , both for their architectural structure and for the history that animates them: at the time of the gladiator fights, right here the preparation for the shows took place. Just close your eyes to imagine being there and hear the screams of the spectators at the party:incredible, right?
Today you can visit the Colosseum and it’s underground every day , from Monday to Sunday , from 9 to 16.30.
